Recently, WINDEY has successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) pertaining to new energy cooperation with Lucky Medina, the Minister of Resources and Environment and Mines of Honduras (SERNA), and Erick Tejada, the Minister of Energy (SEN), in Tegucigalpa. This MOU marks a significant milestone as it is the first one in the realm of new energy cooperation to achieve a remarkable level of consensus since the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Honduras. In accordance with the agreement, both parties will prioritize the construction of local microgrid and wind power projects, alongside the transformation and enhancement of energy structures, encompassing various aspects of practical collaboration.

Lucky Medina and Erick Tejada harbor immense aspirations for this collaboration. They underscored that the signing of the memorandum served as both a testament to their collaborative endeavors and a pivotal milestone in Honduras’ journey towards achieving energy autonomy and sustainable development. They firmly believe that, backed by the technical prowess of WINDEY, the energy landscape of Honduras will undergo further enhancements, ensuring the sustained improvement of power supply stability and carbon emission control, thereby painting a promising picture for the emergence of a vibrant green economy.

With over 50 years of profound dedication to the new energy sector and armed with cutting-edge technology and a favorable standing in the industry, WINDEY holds a high regard for the overseas market and has actively pursued its expansion, yielding remarkable outcomes in Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. On March 26, 2023, China established diplomatic relations with Honduras at the ambassadorial level, making it the 182nd country that has established diplomatic relations with China. In response to the escalating demand for environmentally sustainable development in Honduras, WINDEY has embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and has pursued a “two-way effort” by offering both exceptionally reliable products and unparalleled high-quality services.

This collaboration not only serves as a significant milestone in WINDEY’s internationalization strategy but also signifies a fresh breakthrough in the realm of green energy cooperation between China and Honduras. In the upcoming phase, WINDEY will leverage its cutting-edge technology and extensive expertise in wind power, collaborating closely with its partners to transform the “Chinese wind” into a driving force for sustainable development in Honduras. This endeavor will also serve as a bridge and conduit for fostering mutual learning and profound cultural exchanges between the two nations.
