The 9th Global Offshore Wind Summit opens in Ningbo, China

Time:2024-06-21 Number:0 From:Windey

On the shore of the East China Sea, the sky is wide and the wind is strong.

On June 21, the 9th Global Offshore Wind Summit was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. Pan Huimin, Deputy Director of the New Energy and Renewable Energy Department of the National Energy Administration, Yu Fengqing, Director of the Energy Bureau of Zhejiang Province, Yang Zhenyu, General manager of Zhejiang Mechanery and Electrical Group Co., Ltd., and Gao Ling, chairman of Windey attended the meeting.

This event closely follows the theme of "Science and technology empowerment, integrated development, promoting the steady and orderly development of far deep sea wind power", focusing on the current offshore wind power development hotspots, cutting-edge technologies and market policy prospects to carry out in-depth discussions, in order to create new kinetic energy for green development in coastal areas, promote the high-quality development of China's offshore wind power, promote the global energy transformation to unite forces, "charging" empowerment.

Pan Huimin congratulated on the successful convening of the meeting. She pointed out that with the energy security strategy of "four revolutions, one cooperation" and the realization of the "double carbon" goal as the guide, China's energy structure is undergoing profound changes, and the development of wind power is gradually accelerating with the continuous maturity of the market and technology. As an important development direction of the wind power industry, China's offshore wind power is currently in a critical period of consolidating the development foundation. The National Energy Administration will resolutely implement the decision-making and deployment of the CPC Central Committee and The State Council, and take multiple measures to promote the high-quality development of offshore wind power by promoting scale development, improving institutional mechanisms, carrying out the survey of sea wind resources, accelerating technical research, and deepening international cooperation.

Yu Fengqing said that the coastline of Zhejiang ranks first in the country, and the unique environment has nurtured the unlimited potential of offshore wind power. As the birthplace of "two mountains Theory", it is the only way for Zhejiang to achieve high-quality development to cultivate and strengthen the new quality productive forces with regional characteristics under the background of "green economy". In the future, Zhejiang Province will make full use of the advantages of Marine resources, equipment industry and scientific and technological innovation, and strive to "be strong to the chart", "be strong to the green" and "be strong to the new", jointly promote the healthy development of the offshore wind power industry, and make contributions to the optimization of the energy structure and the green and low-carbon transformation.

Yang Zhenyu expressed his heartfelt thanks and warm welcome to all the leaders and guests attending the conference. He said that although China's offshore wind power started late, but thanks to the steady support of policies, technological innovation, continuous improvement of the industrial chain, China's offshore wind power market continued to prosper and develop, has rapidly grown into the world's largest offshore wind power market. It is hoped that the convening of this conference will further promote the scientific planning, orderly development, and efficient integrated development of offshore wind power. The provincial Mechanical and Electrical Group and its listed company Windey Shares will further focus on the landing of the "double" and "two new" policies, continue to build the core competitiveness of Zhejiang offshore wind power, achieve the goal of large-scale and industrialized development of offshore wind power, and inject green energy into the Marine economy of China and even the world.

Gao Ling said that at this stage, offshore wind power has gradually advanced from offshore to far deep sea, and has changed from a single wind power to the integrated development of "offshore wind power +". The conference comes at a timely and opportune time. As a provincial state-owned enterprise rooted in Zhejiang and a leading enterprise in new energy equipment manufacturing, Windey actively promotes the construction of new energy industrial clusters in Zhejiang Province, and has rolled out the world's largest single capacity floating "Sea Eagle" platform offshore wind turbines with fully independent intellectual property rights, and has made major technological breakthroughs in the field of far-reaching sea wind power development. It has turned the far deep sea into a treasure house of resources with great scale development value, and also provides a whole life cycle solution for the high-quality development of offshore wind power in the global far-reaching sea. Windey is willing to take this conference as an opportunity to actively join hands with industry colleagues to combine efforts in innovation synergy, competitive development, quality and efficiency improvement, openness and co-prosperity, promote the decomposition, reconstruction and upgrading of the offshore wind power industry chain value chain, and achieve high-quality development from strong to excellent and from near to far.

The conference focused on "China Far Deep sea offshore wind power planning Outlook", "China's offshore wind power management policy and ecological environment research", "East China Far Deep Sea offshore wind power homeport construction" and "offshore wind power technology development trend" and other topics to launch keynote speeches. And focus on the offshore wind power market outlook, multiple applications, operation and maintenance technology and the "far deep sea" development strategy and other key lines to hold a special forum, a total of offshore wind power plan.

Hundreds of government representatives, experts, scholars and industry leaders from all over the world attended the conference and spoke on the spot. Cui Xiaojian, Deputy Director of the National Ocean Information Center; Deng Kangqiao, Deputy Director of the Department of Marine Strategic Planning and Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Natural Resources; Wei Mingke, Consul General of the Kingdom of Denmark in Shanghai; Kang Ruxing, Deputy Consul General and Director of Economic Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Shanghai; Zhang Dongxiao, member of the National Academy of Engineering of the United States, Executive Vice president and provost of the Institute of Advanced Study of Eastern Technology, and chair professor attended the meeting.
